ABOUT RESILIENCE ACADEMY
Academic institutions and society collaborate to provide the younger generation with practical skills and digital tools for effectively managing risks.
Resilience Academy began as an initiative of Tanzania Urban Resilience Program, a partnership between the Government of Tanzania, World Bank, and FCDO. It now has an MoU partnership between Tanzanian government (Tanzania ICT commission) and four academic institutions in Tanzania (ARU, UDSM, SUA, SUZA), along with UTU in Finland, with other member partners and organisations.
Our secretariat services
We work towards securing that Resilience Academy services are of high quality, openly accessible and responsive to societal needs.
We aim that Resilience Academy services bring inclusive education and research benefits for the partner universities, and improve employment of the youth with relevant digital skills.
Via education and research actions, Resilience Academy improves societies’ capacity to tackle urban challenges related to climate change and risks in the cities.
